Kidz Learn for iOS Offers a Variety of Educational Activities

If you’re a parent, you know how tough it can be to keep kids occupied. Mobile devices like the iPhone and the iPad are great when it comes to helping kids focus on something educational, but many apps simply don’t have enough content and get boring quickly. Kidz Learn is anything but boring and contains plenty of content for kids to enjoy.

Kidz Learn, developed by Gomathy Shankaran, is a variety app for iPhone and iPad that contains a nice assortment of activities for kids to complete. These activities are educational, as well, which always strikes a nice chord with parents who want to make sure their child is learning while playing.

One thing I like about Kidz Learn is that even though it contains a bunch of things for kids to do, the app itself is very easy to navigate. Kids shouldn’t have any trouble with finding their way around and moving between activities.

The activities Kidz Learn offers include: Alphabet, Numbers, Stories, Shapes, Colors, and Body Parts. Alphabet and Colors show kids four different objects that start with a particular letter or are a certain color.

According to the developer, “‘Kidz Learn’ application is a learning tool and it is available for download, as a universal app in iOS platform.Once downloaded it does not require internet connection to play the contents. Upon opening this app the users i.e. kids can view 7 menu options. The 7 menu options comprises of Alphabets, Numbers, Stories, Shapes, Colors, Body Parts and More.”

Numbers gives kids a visual representation of numbers 1-25 using objects. Shapes and Body Parts takes kids through geometric shapes and important features of the human body. Lastly, Stories is a collection of narrated and illustrated stories that are original and available offline.

Like other apps by Gomathy Shankaran, everything in Kidz Learn is narrated. This means that headphones are definitely recommended for use with the app, as it’s designed to be used with audio enabled.

Lastly, Kidz Learn doesn’t contain in-app purchases, advertisements, or external links. This is always something that parents look for in apps that they download for their child, and they can rest easy knowing that they won’t get into anything questionable.

Overall, Kidz Learn is a wonderful children’s app that’s both fun and educational. You definitely can’t beat the variety of the app, and kids will enjoy the different activities they can complete.

The app is also universally compatible with iPhone and iPad, so kids can enjoy everything that Kidz Learn offers no matter which device they’re using.

Kidz Learn requires iOS 6.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
