Kids Will Fall in Love with Choro & Robin Adventure for iPad

Choro & Robin Adventure is a fantastic interactive storybook for iPad. This incredibly detailed story will immerse kids in a world of colorful characters and interactive elements such as puzzles and games. It’s definitely a must-have iPad storybook.

When you first open Choro & Robin Adventure, you’ll find that there are a number of things you can do within the app. For example, you can select your language, choose to have the story narrated, or read alone. I was truly impressed with the quality of narration, as it’s very clear and easy to understand. The same goes for other languages, as well.

Choro & Robin Adventure supports a number of languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Croatian, and Japanese. Not only is narration translated, but text on the screen also matches the chosen language.

In terms of the storyline, Choro & Robin Adventure is the tale of two friends are looking to set out on an adventure. Along the way, kids can explore 20 different scenes and meet a colorful variety of 40 various characters that Choro and Robin will encounter.

Each page of Choro & Robin Adventure features activities for children to complete, such as organizing Choro’s room and helping him solve puzzles. I found the activities to be very easy to understand, and helpful directions are provided at any time you’re not sure what to do next.

Also, the world of Choro & Robin Adventure is highly interactive. This means that kids can freely tap around the screen and objects will react to them. This shows an incredible level of detail within the app, and it also encourages kids to explore pages beyond activities.

There’s also a handy map that allows kids to have a visual overview of the world of Choro & Robin Adventure. The map is useful for quickly navigating to a particular scene. Lastly, the map includes volume settings for narration, music, and sound effects.

One thing I do want to mention is that if you complete a task on a page and happen to either accidentally or intentionally go back or forward a scene, all progress is unfortunately lost. I do wish there was a way to bookmark progress so kids could switch back and forth between scenes without undoing everything.

It is worth mentioning, though, that you can freely skip between pages without completing activities. However, it would be beneficial to allow kids to quickly pick up where they left off in the story via a bookmark feature.

Choro & Robin Adventure is free of in-app purchases, ads, and external links. Though there is an information button on the main menu that allows you to rate the app and follow the developers on Facebook and Twitter, links can only be opened by solving a math problem.

When it comes to value, I believe Choro & Robin Adventure is worth every penny. The price tag of $3.99 is a bit steep for standard interactive storybooks, but I believe Choro & Robin Adventure offers plenty of features and content to justify it. Overall, I think parents will be happy with the app, and kids will fall in love with the story.

Choro & Robin Adventure requires iOS 6.1 or later and is compatible with iPad.
