Harbor Master for iPhone Might Be an Old Game, but It’s Still Fun to Play

As you can probably imagine, it’s difficult to find apps and games that have been around since the beginning of the App Store. A game has to be pretty darn good in order to survive this long, and Harbor Master is just that. This incredibly challenging game by Imangi Studios, LLC will put your multitasking skills to the test.

If you’ve ever played Flight Control, you’re already aware of how Harbor Master works. The game functions pretty much the same way in that players must direct boat traffic around the map and avoid colliding with each other while making sure boats enter the appropriate harbor and unload their cargo.

Featuring seven different maps for players to enjoy, Harbor Master is a game that will get you addicted in no time. In order to play, all you have to do is tap on the boat and drag your finger across the screen in the line. The ship will follow that line, provided there are many obstacles in the way. If you hit another boat, the game is over.

One of the things I really like about Harbor Master is the fact that each map is completely different from the next. Instead of just changing scenery, each map features its own challenge for players to work through.

From cyclones that change the direction of your ship to harbors of different colors, I really like the fact that Harbor Master challenges players by throwing a number of different things at them.

It’s also worth noting that Harbor Master features a multiplayer function, as well as achievements and leader boards. Scores are kept for each map, so you always have to work hard in order to improve it.

Perhaps what’s most impressive about Harbor Master is the fact that it’s been around since 2009. I do want to mention that the last update was in 2011, so if you’re playing on an iPhone 5 or above, the screen is a little more compact than what you’re used to.

Also, there’s a separate version of Harbor Master for iPad, Harbor Master HD.

Overall, Harbor Master is a timeless game that challenges players and pushes their multitasking skills to the limit.

Even though it’s an old game that hasn’t been updated in a few years, it’s still playable on newer devices. I highly recommend checking it out, especially while it’s free for a limited time.

It looks like the regular price of Harbor Master is $0.99, so even if you miss the sale, it’s still a game that’s worth the money.

Great!

Harbor Master for iPhone is an old game that has been around since the beginning of the App Store, but it's still a blast to play. Similar to Flight Control, players must guide ships around the map without colliding in order to reach the highest score possible.
