Kids Can Easily Practice Math Skills with Math Frenzy – Levels for iOS

We’ve covered a few math games here on iOS App Lists, and most of them aim to help kids practice fundamental math skills in a fun way. Math Frenzy – Levels is a brand-new educational game for iPhone and iPad, and it’s a great way for kids to work on solving various math equations quickly.

Math Frenzy is a fairly simple math game, but don’t let it fool you. I was really surprised to see just how much content is included in the game. One of the first things I noticed is that the game’s menu screen is very clean and easy to navigate, so kids won’t have a hard time finding their way around Math Frenzy.

Math Frenzy covers basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Kids can work on each area at will, meaning they don’t have to progressively unlock other areas of the game. Tapping on one of the operations starts the game.

When it comes to gameplay, Math Frenzy definitely switches things up by implementing a variety of gameplay styles. At first, kids have to swipe their finger across the screen in order to move the dot over the correct answer for the equation. As they progress to level 2, they have to tap to eliminate incorrect answers. This goes on and on as they reach higher levels.

One of the things I like most about this is that it keeps things fresh and interesting. While most math games tend to focus on rote memorization and repetitive practice, Math Frenzy goes a step further by actually being fun and switching things up a bit.

For young students were feeling a bit confident, Math Frenzy features an Advanced mode. This is where math skills will be put to the test. Unlike regular gameplay modes, Advanced mode requires kids to answer questions very quickly.

Also, Advanced mode incorporates all four types of equations, which means it tends to get very difficult.Personally I really like this mode because it allows kids to challenge themselves under a bit of pressure.

Math Frenzy is available to download from the App Store for free and is universally compatible with the iPhone and iPad, which means kids can practice math no matter what device they’re on. I do want to mention that there are ads at the bottom of the screen, though, but they don’t interfere with gameplay.

Overall, Math Frenzy is a fantastic educational game that will definitely help young kids sharpen their math skills. It might take them a little while to get used two different gameplay controls, but it’s time well spent.

Math Frenzy – Levels requires iOS 8.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.
