Add Gestures and Narration to Your Photos with PicTac for iOS

Sharing photos and videos over social media is a great way to connect with other people around the world. However, sometimes a simple photo just won’t do. PicTac is a brand-new app by AppBlit that gives you a completely new way to share photos.

Created for iPhone and iPad, PicTac is a creative app that allows you to quickly and easily design an interactive experience that helps others get more out of your photos. This is accomplished by allowing you to narrate photos, outline important parts using gestures, and add captions.

To create your first project in PicTac, simply tap the New button at the top of the screen. You can select a seemingly unlimited number of photos from your camera roll, which definitely comes in handy for things like vacation photos.

Once you’ve selected your images, you can set individual captions for each photo, drag your finger along the screen in order to highlight important parts, and even record your voice as you narrate what the viewer is seeing. You can even choose a static profile photo for yourself or have a live view of your face as you record.

After your project is completed to your satisfaction, you can share the final product via a variety of social networks such as Vine, Facebook, and Instagram. You can also save the video to your device’s camera roll.

PicTac also lets you quickly and easily view recent projects within the app so you can go back and revisit/re-download old projects without hassle.

When it comes to overall usability, PicTac is definitely easy to use once you figure out the general order of things. I really like the concept of the and I think many users will find it helpful for sharing photos while adding a personal touch with both gestures and voice. I also want to mention that the app is completely free of in-app purchases.

All in all, PicTac is a great way to share photos via interactive video. Not only does it give you a bit of creative control over things like pointing out specific details to the viewer, but the app essentially allows you to bring your photos and your personal experience to life. I highly recommend checking it out if you enjoy sharing your life moments with others around the world.

PicTac requires iOS 8.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.
