If you’re like me, you enjoy winding down with a good RPG game. From battling enemies to exploring new worlds, this game genre features seemingly endless possibilities. Taichi Panda, developed by Snail Games USA Inc., is an incredibly immersive MMORPG for iPhone and iPad that’ll have players addicted in no time.
**UPDATE: Check out the press release for Taichi Panda’s major update on May 21st, 2015!**
First, I’d like to get one thing out of the way; I can honestly say without a shred of doubt that this is one of the best MMORPG games I’ve seen for iPhone and iPad.
Like many other RPG games, Taichi Panda is full of awesome content. To get started, simply create an account and choose from one of four characters to play: Treasure Hunter, Taichi Panda, Fox Mage, and Glorious Warrior. Simply give your character name and prepare to be immersed in a complex fantasy world.
One thing I really like about Taichi Panda is that it allows players to move freely around the map using an on-screen joystick. While I’ve experienced trouble with virtual joysticks in the past, I found that this particular game is very responsive and players shouldn’t have any issues with moving their character around.
Luckily Taichi Panda features a comprehensive interactive tutorial that guides new players through pretty much every aspect of the game. This includes combat, upgrading skills and weapons, completing quests, and collecting bonuses.
I will admit that the tutorial goes by fairly quickly, so new players might still have a bit of trouble locating everything in the game once it’s completed. However, with a bit of patience, the world of Taichi Panda opens up and players will be able to easily find what they’re looking for.
Perhaps the best feature Taichi Panda offers is complete multiplayer support. The game’s App Store page says it all – “Play in real-time multiplayer with friends and strangers. Become the ultimate Taichi champion with PvP arenas and battlefields. Team up with fellow adventurers in group dungeons to face off against formidable Bosses. Form Guilds with friends and compatriots, and expand your territory in Guild vs Guild war mode!”
When it comes to graphics, Taichi Panda is nothing short of gorgeous to look at. Everything is crisp and clear, and sound effects really add to the overall experience of the game. Even special weapon attacks look awesome when activated.
From dungeons to quests and even the PVP arena, Taichi Panda offers many things to do for players. It’ll take a bit of time to explore everything in the game, but once your familiar with it, you’ll be completing quests and battling your way to infamy.
Overall, Taichi Panda is a must-have iOS game if you enjoy MMORPG titles. It has all the elements of a successful game, and with the reported number of players, it’s certainly not disappearing anytime soon.
Taichi Panda requires iOS 6.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
