Terms of Service

Effective date: August 18, 2026. Last updated: August 18, 2026.

These terms apply to iOS App Lists (iosapplists.com) and to the paid services we offer. By using the site or buying a paid placement you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy from us.

Who you are dealing with

iOS App Lists is an independent app review publication operating from the United States. The best way to reach us about anything on this page is webmaster@iosapplists.com or our contact page.

Using the site

You may read, link to, and quote our articles with attribution. You may not republish an article in full, scrape the site at scale, or present our work as your own. App names, icons, screenshots, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear here for the purpose of identification and editorial commentary.

Our paid services

We sell two things:

  • Editorial App Review, $75. A written review of your iPhone or iPad app, published on iOS App Lists.
  • App News Article, $75. A news-style article about your app or announcement, published on iOS App Lists.

Both are one-time flat fees with no recurring charges. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Editorial independence (please read this one)

The fee buys our time and a published placement. It does not buy a favorable verdict. Specifically:

  • The rating, the opinions, and the criticism are ours, and we will not change them because a fee was paid.
  • Every paid piece is clearly labeled as sponsored, at the top, as the Federal Trade Commission requires. This is not negotiable and cannot be removed on request.
  • Links we place to your App Store listing and your website carry rel="sponsored", as Google’s policies require for paid links. We cannot offer “dofollow” links, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does.
  • We do not sell placement in our “Best Apps” lists or roundups. Those are editorial only.

If we find a serious problem with your app while testing, we will tell you privately before publishing so you have a chance to respond or to fix it.

Delivery

We aim to publish within 48 hours of payment and the completed request form, and often sooner. If we are going to take longer we will tell you. Delays caused by an incomplete form, a broken App Store link, or an app we cannot install do not count against that window.

Refunds

  • Before we start writing: ask and we will refund you in full.
  • If we decide not to publish: full refund. If your app scores poorly and you would rather we held publication, you may choose a full refund instead, or leave the piece unpublished at no charge. You will not be charged for a review that never runs.
  • After publication: the service has been delivered, so we do not refund. If something in the published piece is factually wrong, tell us and we will correct it promptly at no charge.
  • We do not refund because you disagree with the verdict or the rating. See editorial independence above.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.

How long content stays up

We intend published pieces to stay online indefinitely, and we do not remove them to sell the slot to someone else. We may edit a piece for accuracy, update it as an app changes, or remove it if it becomes factually indefensible, if the app is pulled from the App Store, or if we are legally required to. Removal for accuracy reasons is not a refundable event once published, though we will always talk to you first.

What we need from you

By buying a placement you confirm that you have the right to the app, materials, and promotional codes you send us, and that what you tell us about the app is accurate. We verify claims independently and will not repeat a claim we cannot confirm. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from materials you supply.

Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are served by Google and its partners, and their presence is not an endorsement. Some articles contain affiliate links, which are disclosed on the articles that carry them. See our disclosure page.

Accuracy and no warranty

We try hard to be accurate, but app pricing, features, and availability change constantly. Content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Nothing here is financial, legal, medical, or professional advice. Decisions you make based on our articles are your own.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the site or from a paid placement is limited to the amount you actually paid us, which for a paid placement is $75. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales, lost downloads, or lost ranking.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not remove protections you have under your local law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above will change, and the terms in force when you paid are the ones that apply to your order.
